Ironroot Legion

Ironroot Legion is the tower defence I've been recommending to friends all month. You defend a shrinking forest along branching lanes, and the twist is that towers share resource nodes, so every placement is a trade-off. Overbuild one lane and the other collapses.

The upgrade tree is genuinely deep. Some paths turn a basic tower into an area-denial monster, others into single-target snipers for the armoured boss waves. I respec'd my whole build three times before finding something that survived the endless mode.

It respects your time too. Waves can be sped up, and there's a proper pause-and-plan phase between them. If you like reading damage numbers and squeezing efficiency out of a tight economy, this is the one.
